Mission. Our mission is to create significant learning experiences for our program candidates to apply theory and practice that reflect North Carolina school leadership standards. We are dedicated to educational excellence, grounded in ethical and moral principles, equity, and social justice, in ever-changing educational environments.
Vision. Our vision is to prepare school leaders who are change agents committed to making a positive and consequential impact in schools.
Core Values. We particularly seek to connect quality research to effective educational practices and preparing instructional leaders who are (1) ethical, moral, and dedicated to equity and social justice; (2) data-driven, trauma-informed, and politically literate and savvy; (3) ready to lead in any educational context, and (4) community change-agents.
